mission

As a ministry, the purpose of Hillcrest Mother’s Day Out is to provide Christ-centered, quality, early childhood education for children as a part of the vision and mission effort of the church. 

The goal of our program is to nurture the development of each child spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially through learning and developmentally appropriate experiences consistent with the Christian principles of the church.


We are excited to continue serving the Brazos Valley as we partner together with Declaration Church!

Dates & Times

Time: 9 am – 3 pm
Day: Tuesdays and Thursdays


2024-2025 School Year Began: August 13, 2024


Ages: 3 months – Pre-K (Children who are 5 are also eligible for our Pre-K class)

Classroom placement is based on the age of a child as of August 1st of the current academic year.

  • We offer a Summer Program filled with arts, crafts, water days, music, field trips, and more


    With the addition of Elementary classes, we have your kiddos covered from 3 months all the way to 4th grade (completed)



    Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9 am - 3 pm

    Duration: Six Week Program in June/July

The MDO program is governed by a church-appointed committee, which establishes the policies of the program in the best interest of the children involved and in accordance with the ministry of the church.  

The program is administered by the MDO Committee and the MDO Director.

We desire that all employees of Hillcrest MDO hold beliefs that are consistent with the mission and purpose of the church. Staff are required to pass a federal background check, attend 15 hours of training each school year plus staff development days, be current in CPR and First Aid training, and must be able to lift young students (no less than 40lbs.)
